Lunchtime Extra-curricular Clubs and Activities

 

Recorder Club

This club is open for a limited number of pupils in Y3/4 to learn to play the recorder.  Booking is on a first come first served basis through SIMS Agora as there is a small cost to cover the cost of the book.

Recorders will be provided for all pupils attending.

Eco Club

This club is open to those children who have expressed an interest in their environment and the changes happening in their world.

 

It is open to years 3 to 6.

 

It is free to join and any equipment will be provided.

 

Thursday one week Y3/4 other week Y5/6: Miss Hazel

Gymnastics Club

This club is open to children who have some

experience of gymnastics or dance and want to

improve some of their skills. Interested children

should have an initial discussion with Mr

Mearns. Children need to attend the club

wearing school P.E. kit (shorts and a T shirt) or

similar, with tape over any ear rings that

cannot be removed.

This club is open to children who have some

experience of gymnastics or dance as well as

those who want to find out a bit more.

Mindfulness Colouring Club

This club is on a first come first served basis to Miss Fraser’s classroom for children from Y1-Y6. 

Children can complete a range of colouring activities (often themed) in a calm classroom environment at lunchtime. 

Children can take their colouring activities home with them after each session. 

 

Wednesday lunchtime for:

KS1 / Lower KS2 / Upper KS2

(three week cycle)

Typing Club

This club is open for a limited number of pupils in Y6 to learn how to touch type (type without looking at the keyboard).  This is an incredibly useful skill to have.

Places are limited due to the size of the computer suite.

Games Club

 

This club is open to pupils in Y5. It is run by two Y5 pupils with the support of Mrs Thompson. There are a range of board games provided; however, if you have any games you no longer require at home we would be grateful for any donations.

Table Tennis Club

This club is open for up to 12 children in each

class in Y6 and will make use of the tables and

other excellent equipment we have available in

the gym. There will be two 25-minute sessions, one for each class in Y6.
