Friends Of Brough School (FOBS)

The Friends of Brough School (FOBS) is a registered charity and the committee is made up of parent members and teaching staff who work extremely hard to support the pupils and staff at Brough Primary School. This is done through holding a variety of fund raising events during the school year including discos, film nights, quiz nights and holding a school Christmas fayre. All money raised from such events goes towards purchasing extra school resources for the pupils at Brough Primary School. New resources already purchased have included play equipment, extra laptops, dictionaries, new books and updated sports kits.

Please note: you are required to register before you can purchase tickets. This is a simple process and will only require a few moments of your time. Your information will not be given to third parties, it is merely a tool to allow us to identify who comes to which events.
There is an option to pay an additional voluntary fee with PayPal. This is to cover the charges PayPal apply to FOBS as a charity. The fee is set at 1.4% plus 20p per transaction. If you choose not to pay it, then FOBS will foot the bill; however we would prefer not to use our funds as we are a charity and all our profits go to the school.
There is a close working relationship between FOBS and school through regular committee meetings where new fund raising ideas are shared and school requests are put forward. Please see the FOBS section of the school website for updated minutes from each committee meeting.
